I know you have heard of Social Networking but, have you ever been to a social site? Social sites can be fun, informative and, a place to make connections. You can find friends, you can advertise, market your product, your website, get in touch with people from your past, make new friends, find valuable information about crafts, hobbies, sports,quilting, nature, up to date news or, announcements. It might have a blogging feature where you can blog about anything you want or, read others blogs. You can make connections with just about anyone. It is fun and interesting. Some social sites feature games, gifts and, programs which allow more interaction with other people and, friends.

Through my marketing efforts of Cheryl's Gifts 2 Go, I have found an abundance of social sites out on the internet. I have made so many new and, interesting friends.

Below you will find a list of just some of the social sites I have used along with, some other interesting sites. Perhaps you have heard of some or, find there are many more social sites out there than you knew of. I am always discovering another social site and, will list them here for reference.

Facebook: A very intertaining social site. There are many interactive programs on this site that are both fun and, exciting. -

Twitter: A great place to send announcements, get the latest news or gossip.



Flixter:A great site for the movie lover in you. Find the latest reviews of all your favorite movies.


My Space: Make your own website the fun, fast and, free way. You can find many people in this site too. A place to blog and, interact with others.


Cafemom: I recommend this to all moms. This is a cute site for all moms to interact with each other.


Hoverspot:: This is a nice interactive site..


Xanga: A really nice social site.


Yedda: If you have a question, or perhaps an answer, this is a great site to socialize on.


Successville News: This is a fairly new site but, I found it to be so friendly.


Digg: A friendly place.


Stumbleupon: If you have stumbled here, I am sure you loved it.


Youtube: A great place to upload your videos to.


Squidoo: Create your own website here. This site is fun.


Delicious: A nice site to visit.




Advertising Sites: Want to advertise your site? Here is a great list of places you can advertise on for free.

Merchant Circle: a great place to advertise for free. Lot’s of added benefits and, blogs!


Finditquick: Not only a social site but, you can load videos, add blogs and, interact in the forums. Also a great place to advertise! PPC cheaper than Google adwords.


Startupbiz: A great place to market your website, see other websites and, meet new people.
